A little nest.
A very good morning.
Gniazdo opened in 2015, bringing a modern breakfast idea to Wrocław: traditional Polish ingredients meeting morning favourites from around the world.
The name means “nest”. You can see it woven into the twig-ring sign on the door, here on pedestrian Świdnicka, across from the opera. Inside, white brick, old Polish film posters and hexagonal tiles make a home just five minutes’ walk from the main square.
Stay for a slow drip, AeroPress or Chemex, and something baked in-house. In summer, find a seat in the backyard courtyard. Bringing a laptop? Look for the little Wi-Fi password card on the table, with “happiness” written on it.

The breakfast dishes were extremely delicious. The coffee was on point as well. Definitely a must!
Eggs benedict sourdough bread were amazing. Coffee was good too. A little busy in the morning but it is worth to wait. Nice and friendly staff.
Great place off of the old town which is a perfect location for breakfast. Though warning for those in a rush it can be busy in the brunch weekend rush. Great staff, English and Polish menus available. Seasonal rotations of food and drink. And beautiful cakes.
We popped in here on route to a tour. Tbf, we'd already eaten in the morning and I only had coffee. The kids had juices and cakes which were excellent and reasonably priced. Highly recommend. Only thing is, because it's so good there is usually a line, but this is not very well organised, just a bit to hectic to know if your going to be seated any time soon.
Enjoyed the avo bagel and the chicken bacon bagel but nearly blinded myself on the corner of the stiff paper wrapper they serve them in. Freak accident but watch out
